The Student Council is a representative platform between the students and the College administration. The Board works towards the all-round development and care of the students. It seeks to represent student interests in personal, academic, co-curricular & extra-curricular development, alumni relations and event management. The Student Advisory Board is a platform where the students take charge of the managerial activities of various functions of the college. The Committees of the Board are the division of such functions and provide for a niche participation for the students in a particular function.
The Academic and Research Committee of the Student Advisory Board assists in academic endeavors and facilitates research with the aim of cultivating an ethos of intellectual discourse and promoting equitable and holistic academic development.
The Committee's initiatives include Peer-Aided Learning programme, where students facing difficulties in core subjects are connected with senior students who offer academic assistance; the Panel Discussions which provide a conducive environment for deliberations on contemporary socio-legal issues; the List of Opportunities through which details regarding publication and allied opportunities are sent to students; and National, International and Inter-Disciplinary Conference, which the Committee assists in organizing.
The Extra & Co-Curricular Committee fosters a stronger student community that wishes to partake in extra and co-curricular activities in and outside college. It spearheads participation in outstation fests, performs in various college events, and offers students opportunities to further their interests and talents, thereby providing a welcome respite from day-to-day college activities and facilitates holistic growth of students. The committee organizes various co-curricular and extra-curricular events and also takes responsibility to communicate external events to the students.
The Events Committee serves as the metaphorical backbone of the Student Council, where the work profile includes organizing an event and ensuring the smooth facilitation of the same. Essentially, the committee is involved from point A to Z in every event that takes place in the college. The members handle conferences, moots, fests, and everything in between. Their work will also be alongside other committees and cells to ensure a collaborated effort towards serving this institution.

The Student Welfare Committee is the student body which essentially links the college administration with the students of the institution. The committee not only establishes itself as an effective grievance redressal forum but also one that promotes the best interests of the students in all aspects of the college environment. The functions of the committee are multi-faceted, ranging from library assistance, accommodation assistance, peer mentorship programs and academic grievance redressal to ensuring emotional and physical wellbeing which makes it truly an approachable and student centric committee.

The Committee plays an active role in channeling sponsorship, allocating funds, disbursing prize money, paying honorarium, effectuating vendor payments and ensuring that all events remain in a healthy fiscal position.
The Alumni Committee is a dedicated faculty guided student body with a mandate to create a better network among the alumni and also foster strong relations among the alumni, college and students. The committee regularly engages with the Alumni through emails, calls and social media platforms to ensure that the alumni remain connected to the college even after they graduate. Some of the biggest events at college, such as the Alumni Meet and the Farewell are organized and implemented successfully by the Alumni Committee.
