Cells are communities where students with shared interests come together with a common objective and work with one another enabling each other to enhance their skills and interests in the particular community they are involved in.
Career and Professional Development Cell is setup with a mandate to promote professional careers of its students. CPDC constitutes of students, faculty members, and professionals, who engage with students on multiple levels to assist in exploring career options and identify their interests; guide them in preparing for placement interviews and other career assessments; facilitate in securing national and international internships & placements in top tier institutions. CLCL Cell aims at bringing changes in the lives of community people at large by following the 17 SDG goals through various initiatives and activities in rural areas. The Cell puts in efforts in providing legal care, literacy and service to the needy. Its work is not only limited to create legal awareness but to also identify the underprivileged strata in the society and facilitate access to justice for them. The Cell sets forth to conduct periodic discussions among the members of the cell on creative ideas to meet the objective of the cell. The Cell works towards training the underprivileged women, aims at establishing a legal aid center to address the problems of the villagers in and around Tirupur.
The Human Rights Cell (HRC) is a place where the students who are equally driven and motivated to acknowledge various violations in human rights such as gender discrimination, child labor, slavery, unequal opportunities, etc., come together and involve in discussions and programs on these topics. They create awareness about human rights and innovate and suggest ideas to contribute to the process of reaching a society with unviolated human rights – an ideal society.
The Sports Cell functions in co-ordination with the Department of Physical Education. The Cell works to promote good health, physical fitness, bodily coordination and develop basic competence and confidence to face different challenges.
Our college is well equipped with all sports materials for students interested in Athletics, Volley Ball, Football, Cricket, Badminton and Table Tennis and other indoor games such as Chess, Carrom, etc., The Cell motivates, guides and trains its student members to participate in various events organized and conducted by the Department of Physical Education. The students who perform well in these competitions will be eligible to represent the college in external sports events and competitions. The Cell also conducts Fitness Challenge, Sports Quiz, Sports Feud and the likes.
